The Golden Seniors Softball Club of Sacramento (GSSCS) is a non-profit organization which operates recreational senior softball leagues of all skill levels for Men 50 and over and Women 40 and over.  If you enjoy playing softball, we have a league for you.
Our leagues usually start late March and run through late August or early September.  All leagues are played at the Sacramento Softball Complex.  GSSCS offers 5 different day leagues on Monday or Tuesday mornings and 2 night leagues on Tuesday or Wednesdays.
Below is a list of our  7 leagues and age requirements.  Eligibility is determined by the age you are on December 31st of the playing year.
League 1 - Monday, 9:30am (Men 70+ and Women 60+)
League 2 - Tuesday, 9:00am (Men 60+ and Women 55+)
League 3 - Tuesday night (Men 50+ and Women 40+)
League 4 - Wednesday  night (Men 55+ and Women 40+)
League 6 - Tuesday, 9:00am (Men 60+ and Women 55+)
League 7 - Monday, 11:00am (Men 70+ and Women 60+)
League 8 - Tuesday @ 9:30am or 11:00 (Men 75+ and Women 60+)

First Aid/CPR & AED Training

Free for Club Members

Interested in becoming certified in first aid and CPR as well as use of the club’s defibrillator?  GSSCS will sponsor 4 Safety Training sessions on the following dates:

All training sessions will be held at Project Heartbeat - Sacramento, 2033 Howe Ave, Suite 150.  Participates will receive a 2-year certification upon completion of the 1-day training session.

1st Aid / AED Training 
Any club member interested in becoming certified in 1st Aid / AED training, please contact Paul Rogers at 916-206-1605.  Classes are being scheduled for February or March based on signups.  The 1st Aid / AED training is approximately 4hrs and is no cost to active club members.
